The base for our product is our own cows’ fresh r-BST free milk. Two specific yogurt cultures, Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus, convert the milk into our great yogurt. Three probiotics, Lactobacillus Acidophilus, Lactobacillus Casei, and Bifidobacteria gives Millborne Farms Probiotic Drinkable Yogurt most of its distinctive health benefits, including boosting the immune system and inhibiting the growth of diarrhea-causing organisms (more on this on the probiotics page). To this we add only the fruit juices to create the different flavors, natural colorings, and a few ingredients to enhance the health benefits and nutritional value of our Yogurt Drink.

Millborne Farms Probiotic Drinkable Yogurt truly has a “Function beyond Nutrition.” In addition to the probiotics, our product contains inulin, a natural dietary fiber (prebiotic) made from the chicory root. This not only enhances calcium absorption for stronger bones, it stimulates the growth of the probiotics, enhancing their functional benefits. This symbiotic effect takes place both in the yogurt as well as in the intestine. |
